Brevi note sulla registrazione

La registrazione è stata effettata nell’Auditorium di Loppiano. La struttura possiede ottime doti acustiche.

Il piano è reso dalla sala con la luminosità tipica dello strumento. Il violoncello emette sonorità calde ma dettagliate certamente favorite dalla configurazione del palcoscenico. Questo ha il pavimento in legno e pesanti tendaggi sullo sfondo, come si vede dalle foto.

La disposizione microfonica è stata approntata per riprendere tutto il suono emesso sia dagli strumenti che dalla struttura. L’obbiettivo primario della fase di mixing, è stato restituire la corretta timbrica degli strumenti, unita alla reale ambienza della riprese.

Se l’album è ascoltato con sistemi risolutori, capaci di rendere i dettagli del messaggio musicale, questo restituisce una credibilissima ricostruzione dell’evento sonoro originale.

Anche la timbrica è aderente a quanto ascoltato in fase di ripresa, e restituisce l’emozione comunicata dagli esecutori.

Brief notes on the recording

The recording was made in the Loppiano Auditorium. The structure has excellent acoustic qualities.

The piano is offered by the room with the typical brightness of the instrument. The cello emits warm, but detailed sounds certainly favored by the configuration of the stage. This has wooden floors and heavy draperies in the background, as seen in the photos.

The microphone arrangement has been prepared to capture all the sound emitted by both the instruments and the structure. The primary objective of the mixing phase was to restore the correct timbre of the instruments, together with the real ambience of the recording.

If the album is listened to with resolving systems, able to render the details of the musical message, we will have a credible reconstruction of the original sound event.

Even the timbre is similar as heard during the shooting, and returns the emotion expressed by the performers.
